Setting up a modded Minecraft server sounds intimidating, but with Alponhost’s Pterodactyl panel, it takes about five minutes. Here’s how:
- Log in to your panel: you’ll find the link and credentials in your welcome email right after checkout.
- Choose your loader: select Forge, Fabric, or Quilt from the egg dropdown when creating your server.
- Pick your modpack version: enter the modpack’s version number, or upload your own modpack zip via the file manager.
- Start the server: hit start and watch the console; Pterodactyl handles the download and installation automatically.
- Connect and play: once you see “Done” in the console, your server address is ready to share.
