Once you’ve ordered a plan, you’ll receive a welcome email with your Pterodactyl panel link, username, and password. Here’s how to get your server running:
- Log in to your panel using the link and credentials from your email.
- Open your server from the dashboard, you’ll land on the console page.
- Hit Start and watch the console. First boot can take a minute while the server generates your world.
- Copy your server address from the top of the panel (it looks like play.yourserver.alponhost.com).
- Open Minecraft, go to Multiplayer, Add Server, and paste the address in.
That’s it! You should see your world load within a few seconds. If the connection times out, double-check that the server shows “Running” (not “Starting”) in the panel.
